Most web app projects fail on scope, not on code. Someone signs off on a vague brief, the estimate quietly doubles, and six months later there's a half-built admin panel nobody uses. We scope in writing first, with a fixed price and a delivery date, and we say no to the parts that don't earn their build cost.
The stack is Next.js, TypeScript and Postgres, deployed on Vercel or your own infrastructure. That combination is boring on purpose: it's fast, it's cheap to host, it ranks well because pages render on the server, and any competent developer can pick it up if you take the project in-house later.
You see progress on a real staging URL every week — not screenshots in a status email. If something is going wrong, you find out in week two, not week ten.
